I've been seeing a lot of great people lately.



This is a picture taken outside of my house on July 24th. I met these boys on the 23rd, and I hope i see them all again. Its Nate and Tyler on the bench, then on the bottom it is TJ, Decker, Adam, and me. They are all from FL, and are traveling together because Adam is on tour and played music at our house in Waterbury on the 23rd. Amazing people. New friends.

The next day, my great friends Justin and Dan, of Trunks & Tales, played our house too. It always so fun seeing them. We realized that we've played 6 shows together since we all met in March. Which is awesome! They were on tour with their friend PJ Bond, who is also awesome. I'm happy that i got to see both of their sets. My friends Play It Faster, and Yesplease played too. So, it was a fun night. My boyfriend, Andy and my dog, Ruby were also there with me, which made the night that much better.

Now, lets talk about food.

Sunday night, Andy and I made dinner. Well, he did the cooking, but it was a collaborative idea on what to cook! Andy made an awesome alfredo sauce on penne pasta with brocilli, spinach, and asparagus mixed it. MMM it was tastey. The alfredo sauce tasted super cheesey, just like the store-bought stuff. The veggies mixed in really enhanced the dish too.

here is a recipie for the vegan alfredo sauce he made. He added a bunch of nutrition yeast though, to make it taste cheesier.

How Many Calories Should You Have In One Day?

Women: BMR = 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)

Men: BMR = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)

Me= (4.35 x 190) + (4.7 x 70) - (4.7 x 18) = 1725.8

I made Cabbage Soup

Breakfast
4 cups of Cabbage Soup - about 300 Calories
1 Banana - 105 calories
Water

Snack
small bag of Teddy Grams- 90 Calories

Lunch
4 cups of Cabbage Soup - about 300 Calories
1/2 cup of Cashews - 390 Calories
Water

Dinner
4 cups of Cabbage Soup - about 300 Calories
Water

Total Calories Today: 1,485



My Cabbage Soup Recipie-
1 quart of Vegetable Broth
1/2 head of Green Cabbage, cut up
1 head of celery, sliced
4 cups of diced tomatoes
2 cups of sliced carrots
2 green peppers
2 cups of shitake mushrooms, cut up
1 cup white onion, cut up
1/2 cup green onions (chives)

Boil 1 quart of water, add the cabbage and carrots. After 15 minutes, add the 1 quart of veggie broth, along with the celery, peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. While those are boiling, cook the white and green onions in a frying pan with some canola oil. Cook until the white onions are translucent (or.. not raw). Lastly, add the onions into the soup. Stir it all together well. Add all the spices and herbs as you want to. I added garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
